AI Build Review Kit
Questions to ask before you build, buy, or release software made with AI coding tools. Six short PDFs, including my ship pipeline, project docs system, and working notes, plus five editable Markdown files you can use in your own project.
I'll send one email with a download link. This does not sign you up for a mailing list. How your request is handled.
What should you check before releasing software built with AI?
Ask to see the evidence behind these five answers. The review guide in the kit gives you a worksheet to record what the team shows you.
- Behavior: Which real cases and edge cases passed, and what did the previous version do?
- Permissions: Can a user or key that should be denied still reach the action through another path?
- Failure and recovery: What happens when a source is missing, a service is slow, or a run stops halfway?
- Operation: Where can you see what the system did, what failed, and who responds?
- Cost: What does one completed useful result cost, and what limits or alerts are in place?
What's in the ZIP
A buyer's review guide
Questions to ask before a build starts and evidence to request before you approve a release.
The ship pipeline
The seven stages I use to plan, test, independently review, and gate consequential AI-assisted code changes.
A real review example
A condensed account of a permission defect I found and repaired in Klass Personal OS, including what the tests and reviewers caught.
Terms, project docs, and working files
Plain-English definitions, practical AI coding prompts, my project docs system, and five editable templates for your team.
Who it's for
Founders building an app with AI tools, executives reviewing a team's work, and investors assessing a software product. Use the kit before you commit to a project, while you're building, or when you're deciding whether to release it.
