Klass Personal OS

In Development

Your own AI operations team, running on your Mac.

A native Mac app that gives Claude a real MCP server, a scheduler, and secure local access to your email, calendar, and contacts - so it can actually get work done, not just answer questions. I built the system behind this for myself and ran it in production for months. Now it's becoming a product anyone can run.

Most "AI assistants" can talk. Yours can't act.

Want an AI that actually handles your email, your calendar, your CRM? Today that means wiring together a handful of cloud subscriptions, none of which talk to each other, all of which want a copy of your inbox. Klass Personal OS is one Mac app: it runs the tool layer, the scheduler, and the data locally, and lets Claude (or any MCP-compatible client) work through it under permissions you control.

Your data stays on your machine. Your AI has a real job to do. You can see exactly what it's allowed to touch.

What it does

A single app, running quietly in your Dock and menu bar, hosting everything an AI agent needs to operate on your behalf.

A real MCP server

Connect Claude or any MCP-compatible AI client directly to your Mac, over the standard Model Context Protocol - not a proprietary black box.

A built-in scheduler

Run agent jobs on a cron, from every few seconds to once a week, so your AI checks in and gets things done without you having to prompt it.

Email, synced and searchable

IMAP/SMTP sync into local storage your AI can query and cross-reference, so it can actually read and act on your mail.

Calendar & contacts sync

Two-way CalDAV and CardDAV sync, so events and contacts your AI creates show up in the apps you already use.

Keychain-backed security

Credentials live in the macOS Keychain, not a plaintext config file or someone else's cloud. Issue and revoke API keys per client.

A real Mac app

Dock icon, menu bar status item, launch at login. It behaves like the rest of your apps, not a background process you have to babysit.

Why this instead of another cloud subscription

It runs on your Mac, not someone else's cloud. Your email, calendar, and contacts stay on your machine. No monthly fee just to host your own data.

Built by someone who runs it daily. This isn't a concept - it's a rebuild of a system I've operated in production for months, running my own business.

Standard protocol, not a walled garden. MCP means you can see exactly which tools your AI has, scope access per key, and revoke it any time.

Questions I get asked

Is it available now?

Not yet. Klass Personal OS is in active development. Waitlist members hear first when early access opens.

What will it cost?

Pricing isn't finalized. Waitlist members will see it, and any early-access pricing, before anyone else.

Do I need to know how to use Claude or MCP already?

No. The app is designed to be configured through its own interface - the same things you'd otherwise edit in config files - so no prior AI or MCP experience is required.

Is this the same system as the case studies above?

It's the same design, rebuilt as a native Mac app. The case studies describe the Java-based system I run for myself today; Klass Personal OS is what that system becomes when anyone can run it.
